Job description
As product owner robotic software at CropTeq Robotics you are responsible for the development of the software platform of our robots. From drawing up the Software specification and architecture to the realization and quality control of the software for our robots. Furthermore, you are responsible for setting up the control strategy, developing it including writing the software( or having it written), participating as a product owner in the various software development scrum teams, simulating and testing the SW, both at VDL and on location at a customer. You will work with specialized artificial intelligence companies to make use of the latest possibilities of the Deep learning technology. Curious about our robots, for example our leaf cutting robot? Your profile
You have a master’s degree in (technical) Computer Science and have thorough knowledge of platform development for product families and experience or affinity with AI, Robotics and HW/SW interfacing. In addition, you have demonstrable work experience in the field of SCRUM, ROS2, C++, Python and Docker. Knowledge of PLCs, Path Planning, Vision and AGVs is recommended. Other important characteristics for fulfilling the Software Architect function are:
- You are a team player;
- You have good communication skills, both in the internal organization and towards the customer;
- You are able to switch quickly, have analytical skills and have a helicopter view if necessary;
- You are willing to occasionally travel internationally.
