Job Mission

As a member of our team, your mission is seamlessly merge your expertise in performing and analysing complex high voltage experiments with your ability to translate there findings into actionable design improvements. You will also serve as a pivotal resource, offering insights and solutions across all levels of high voltage design, testing and integration. Your efforts will not only answer questions and provide guidance, but also amplify our growth in high voltage design and qualification, driving innovation and excellence in our field. 

Your activities and responsibilities:

Our company is responsible for designing and producing high-tech machines and machine modules. We are expanding our business, therefore we are looking for a High Voltage engineer. You will be responsible for designing and validating test setups and also designing, executing and analyzing complex multi-parameter experiments. You are the first point of contact for questions regarding design, testing and integration. In the projects, you work together with the (electronics) architect and designers of all disciplines (software, mechatronics, mechanics).

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Define, design, realize, validate complex test setups and test sequences
  • Structure, handle and report large amounts of test data
  • Report findings concise and document clearly
  • Collaborate with designers to translate HV test results to design improvements

Your profile:

  • Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • You’re an expert in high voltage technology, partial discharge physics and vacuum design
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with high voltages design in high-tech equipment;
    • Designing source and interconnects
    • Safety aspects   
    • Lifetime and reliability aspects (in relation to partial discharges)
  • Affinity with signal integrity and EMC

 Personal characteristics we are looking for:

  • Self-propelled experimentalist. Ability to ask the follow-up question
  • Good in time management and setting priorities.
  • Team player, analytical, pragmatic, creative and pro-active
  • Good communication skills and proficient in English and preferably in Dutch.
  • Ambition for a broad personal development in the technology field.
