Group lead Programs & Delivery
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Lead a group of approximately 25 project leads, guiding them in the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects and programs and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability in project execution.
- People Management and Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluations to nurture the growth and career development of your team members, with a strong emphasis on project leadership capabilities.
- Competence Ownership: Take responsibility for the project management competence, continuously improving project delivery processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent execution across the organisation.
- Continuous Improvement and Cross-learning: Foster cumulative growth of the project management competence by ensuring knowledge is retained, shared, and advanced through structured learning, retrospectives, and best practice dissemination.
- Roadmap Development and Quality Assurance: Build and manage the project management roadmap while prioritising quality project management processes. Maintain high standards of operational excellence and drive projects to completion within the Triple Constraint (scope, time, cost), ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with multiple engineering disciplines and co-developers to ensure timely realisation of competitive, serviceable products. Facilitate cross-functional alignment and integrated planning across teams to support successful project outcomes.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the portfolio of projects. Represent the project leaders in the organisation and provide regular progress status updates, including variances to plan and identification of corrective actions. Champion structured project governance and risk management practices.
Your profile:
We seek a people-oriented manager with a hands-on mentality, capable of shaping the development of our organisation through excellence in project delivery and competence building. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Leadership Track Record: Experience in a group leader role, managing project leaders or engineering professionals in a high-performance environment.
- Proven project management Experience: Demonstrated expertise in leading complex technical projects and programs, preferably in a High-Tech environment such as semiconductors, systems engineering, or advanced manufacturing.
- Change Agent: Effective in implementing changes from ideas to execution across the company, with a focus on improving project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with fast-paced engineering environments and resilient to change. Able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in project execution.
- Organisational Efficiency: Skilled in organising resources across multiple engineering facilities and projects. Experienced in implementing structured project management processes and governance frameworks that enhance delivery performance.
