I have already had a substantial career of over 30 years at VDL De Meeuw. After my military service and while applying for jobs, I started working through a temp agency as a jack-of-all-trades in the warehouse. I am from Oirschot myself and that gave me a nice insight. Within 3 months I was able to make the switch within VDL De Meeuw to an inside sales function. After which, in the 4th year, I was given the opportunity to develop as a junior representative for construction vehicles & objects. Later I took over the then South Region and started to supervise projects. From 2000 I focused on the education & government sector, where I still enjoy working.
VDL De Meeuw has been an innovative company all these years. Truly a forerunner of what is modularly possible. We stand for high quality and lasting client relationships. I am energized when clients place their trust and investment in VDL De Meeuw.
Proud
I am proud of the COA project, for example, where we moved 336 modules last year. After 20 years of loyal service, the modular office building of Philips Medical Systems in Best, in which I was also involved at the time, has found a new home for 400 asylum seekers in Zeist. Wonderful, to be able to make a social contribution in this way with combined efforts.
