Activities and responsibilities
- Shape the future of software by leading the roadmap and integrating it seamlessly into our broader system and technology strategy. You work closely with executive stakeholders, gathering insights, solving challenges, and fostering collaboration.
- Architect cutting-edge solutions by designing topology, architectures, and concepts rooted in deep technical expertise, translating them into actionable work breakdowns and specifications for specialized teams.
- Drive project excellence from concept to completion, ensuring smooth execution and delivering high-performance results.
- Lead and strengthen our software team, continuously enhancing capabilities and fostering innovation.
- Champion new business development, taking ownership of novel concepts, translating them into system architectures, and ensuring flawless execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Your strength
- Master’s degree in SW development or informatics with at least 15 years’ experience as a lead software architect
- Thought leader in software architectural principles. Comfortable with deploying these principles to teams and ensuring they adhere to them.
- Proven track record in a leading architecting role for Semicon/ high-tech equipment
- Track record in creating, realizing and maintaining an architectural roadmap in growing SW organizations for complex high tech machine control with real time software and operating systems
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Balancing leadership and team self-steering also in highly dynamic situations
- Comfortable in a multidisciplinary environment, including complex stakeholder fields on executive level
- Support SW processes from an architectural perspective (Including Requirements Management, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management)
- Proficient in English, Dutch is a pre
