VDL Wientjes Emmen is a specialist in thermoset and thermoplastic plastic products. In your work, you deal with various products such as electric charging poles for the automotive industry, the super hip Dopper drinking bottle, letterboxes, caps for street lamp posts, emergency hatches for buses and seats for trains. Both simple and complex plastic components are produced at our Emmen site. Production techniques used include injection moulding (fibre-reinforced) thermoplastics, gas injection, 2-components, in-mould labelling and hot pressing of thermosets (SMC polyester). SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) production is also done in-house.
