Senior CAM Programmer
Your role
As a Senior CAM Programmer, you are responsible for developing, optimizing and safeguarding CAM programs for our advanced CNC milling machines. You work closely with Factory Engineering, production and other technical disciplines to reduce cycle times, increase quality and standardize processes.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Developing, improving and standardizing CAM programs for CNC milling machines.
- Optimizing existing programs focused on quality, cycle time reduction and cost reduction.
- Applying smart routines, automation and standardization within the CAM process.
- Actively collaborating with Factory Engineers and the shop floor to improve manufacturability, stability and efficiency.
- Assessing and applying tooling, fixturing, materials, feeds and cutting conditions.
- Using systems such as Soflex, TDM, Vericut/Vericut Force and Siemens NX.
- Proactively identifying bottlenecks and initiating improvement actions.
- Contributing to a high-quality, error-free and scalable production environment.
Your profile
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machining, including materials, tooling, fixturing and cutting technology.
- Extensive experience in programming NC milling machines, both in NPI phases and in series production.
- Experience with Siemens NX and relevant supporting software tools.
- Strong analytical skills, innovative and focused on continuous improvement.
- Communicative, collaborative and willing to “go the extra mile.”
